Expeditions

Camp Forest offers several expeditions. This year we are venturing out of Waldo County!   Family members and the general community are welcome to join us on our expeditions.

Expeditions begin at 9 am on Monday and end at 4 pm on Friday.  Drop off and pick up times may be extended if needed.

LAKE EXPEDITION

Open to Families, adults, and youth ages 7-17.

TBD | JUNIOR MAINE GUIDE TESTING WEEK

Camp Forest offers the Maine Woodsman Badge which is a State of Maine badge leading to the Junior Maine Guide. This week is a special week for testing to obtain the Junior Maine Guide title given by the State of Maine. It is a state-wide week-long test where campers from across the state gather at Stephens Phillips Preserver in Rangely, Maine for a week of rigorous testing. Camp Forest expects to bring a group of Campers from Camp Forest to be the first to obtain this honor. Campers will be accompanied to the testing site by Maine Guide, Adam Stone. Participants must be ages 14 – 18 to test. This is not a Day Camp week.
HIKING EXPEDITION
   Hiking a piece of the Appalachian Trail!!  Full description to come.   Families are welcome! Open to youth ages 7-17. Pricing may change anytime before June 2024.  REGISTER HERE.

HARVEST DINNER

A HARVEST DINNER will be enjoyed at Camp Forest from 4:30pm to 7 pm. All community members are welcome to attend. A Free Will donation jar will be available with proceeds applied to the Campership fund of Camp Forest. Please bring a fresh harvest dish. Open to the community. Registration helps us know how much to cook. REGISTER HERE.
YOUTH WORKSHOPS - SEASON EXTENDERS

Camp Forest customizes in-school presentations or workshops as well as home school units held at your location or at Camp Forest. Rates are discussed individually. Please call (207) 382-8213 for more information.
